OLD KING'S ELEMENTARY
July 2025

Players headed down to Old Kings Elemtary after a very hot morning of practice on Wednesday, July 30th, to load and move books.

For some of our players, this was a wonderful opportunity to serve at their former elementary school with pride as Matanzas Pirate Football Players and to give back to the community that provided their first character building experience as an OKES OWL!!  We had a lot of Pirates representing for this day of service!

Vincent's Clubhouse

Players participated as special guests at the sport's themed camp, "Game On:  Champions in the Making" at Vincent's Clubhouse over the week of June 24th.

During their time at the camp, players shared stories about teamwork, sportsmanship, and their favorite parts of playing football. They also had a chance to play catch and lead fun activities with the campers—creating meaningful memories for both the team and the campers.

This was a wonderful chance for the athletes to give back, serve as role models, and promote inclusion through the universal language of sports. The campers and the players all really enjoyed the experience!

JUNE 2025

Vincent's Clubhouse is a nonprofit organization that provides enrichment programs for individuals with autism and other disabilities. Our mission is to create inclusive spaces where everyone is celebrated for who they are.

ANNUAL SPRING FESTIVAL

Our Pirates volunteered to help the Garden Club of Palm Coast set up for their big sale at the annual Spring Festival.  They ended up helping set up for the entire event and helping other vendors unload and set up.  They are building a stronger sense of community and engagement through their acts of service.

APRIL 2025

About 15 Pirates volunteered for this event.

They received great feedback from the event organizers and participants about how helpful and wonderful they were and were asked to return next year.
